Hi folks,
Now, as you might have noticed, we had some posters made to celebrate our new office in Zürich and also our new visual elements that we’re introducing.

Dimensions: 50mm x 84mm, 250/g w/ silk finish.
Because our extremely friendly printer went on a printing rampage, we have some extras that we’d like to give out for FREE – yes, you heard us – G R A T I S!
Swing by the studio on Gothersgade 21 1.th. to claim your very own Spoiled Milk poster, tomorrow Friday 30th from 5pm-6pm.
NB: There’s a limited numbers (50 pieces, all wrapped with a mighty fine sticker) so be quick!
We had a lot of fun at our Zürich office celebration party last night. We hope you all enjoyed the free drinks, snacks, posters and stickers.
You can find some photos from the evening here. Did you take photos too? Then please add them to the new Spoiled Milk Flickr group.

On the right of this blog we have added a “subscribe” link, which allows you to receive an instant feed of our latest blog posts. In case you haven’t begun setting up personal subscriptions to your favourite online sites, try Google Reader.

People were beginning to lose hope as several weekly meetings passed without progress on the “Studio makeover” project. Maybe it was just not going to happen. Maybe the Spoiled Milk office was destined to disintegrate into piles of cardboard and cables.

One thing often leads to another. The opening of the Zurich office meant Russell was bound to get rid of his personal stuff and suddenly we had a couch and some shelves. For transportation we chose Lej Et Lig (rent a corpse) and were quite excited about our temporary punk look.

At the same time Casper and Jakob started tidying up the studio.

And the Ungdomshuset-friendly van took a drive around the suburbs of Copenhagen to visit Metro for stock refilling and IKEA for wonderful furniture and cheap hot dogs. Now, get ready for a peek into our new surroundings.
Here you have our new “lounge corner”…

… and our cool hide-the-cables-system …

… and our milk carton stand.

To see our updated kitchen, the relocated sign and what we expect to serve you at our upcoming Zurich celebration, please click yourselves into our recently opened Spoiled Milk Flickr.
We host a lot of websites for our clients in various data centres around the world. These of course have state-of-the-art backup systems in place ensuring vital information can be restored in the case of earthquake, fire, civilian uprising or (behold) an act of God.
However we wanted more granularity and control over when and how our client’s data could be restored. A truck crashing into our server racks might be covered, but how easy would it be to rollback the data to this-time-yesterday if valuable content was accidentally deleted or that last “about us” paragraph erroniously edited via the CMS was actually a lot better.
We’ve been working on a solution for the last few days and are proud to launch our Milkmaid Backup technology today! Our new system automatically mirrors and safeguards our client’s data allowing non-fatal, but annoying mistakes to be reversed.
It’s currently in its infancy, but we soon hope to integrate the service into our Data Carton CMS giving clients complete control (think Apple Time Machine, but for websites).
If you have a website solution with us right now, then your data is now just a little bit safer!
