Our Zürich office is slowly taking shape, although we need a lot more furniture and a lot more colour. We are also very pleased to announce that Andreas Zecher will be joining us at the Swiss office toward the end of the summer. Andreas is a fantastic developer with a keen eye for design; a perfect match for our ever growing team. Check out some of his work here.

We’ve got another visitor in our Copenhagen office. This time it’s our French graphic design intern, Remy Valton, who will be with us for the next two months and helping us with some in-house projects and also strengthening our French language skills.
He has already been sketching out some interesting illustrations in his sketchbook, as shown below.
We’ll be bringing updates on his progress with the sketches and his stay.
So after the much cited problems that Twitter is having with Rails, being blamed on Rails itself rather than the Twitter architecture, comes this interesting interview from RailsConf 2008 detailing how Rails is being used on the human genome project and how much it’s reduced their development costs.
