Tomorrow Jakob turns 25, but we anticipated the celebration and sat down for a coffee-sponsored chat about cake-baking, aging and Cairo.

Jakob received a book about folding paper, which has become a dear obsession of his. It’s called More Packaging Prototypes and is excellent if you’re wondering how to build a donut box or a lampshade out of carton.

The two guys to the left are Daniel and Tommy. Their roles in Spoiled Milk are soon to be announced…

UPDATE: Normal service has resumed. E-mails are flowing once more.

There has been a major problem with the internet connectivity between the USA and Europe all day and as a result we can no longer receive e-mail. In addition some visitors from Germany, Sweden and The Netherlands may be unable to access our website.

E-mail has not been lost and will be delivered once the problem has been fixed, but if you have sent us something (including a message in Basecamp) then please be patient if we do not respond immediately.

Here’s a new update on behalf of our french intern, Remy.

Remy has been helping us out with an internal project for the past two weeks, so we wanted to give him something to do for one week only, so to test his stress levels. He rated great, as he already finished this piece in 4 days. Which leave us to today – Friday – where he has even had time to give you all a nice little summer gift in the form of an awesome wallpaper.
